I (literally) don’t know who wants to hear this, but since at least three of you at three different times have asked me anonymously in three different ways whether I swing both ways, I thought I’d make it public: I am a cis heterosexual monogamous male. I was married twice (to one woman at a time) and am a happy father of an 8yo.
I am not gay, trans, bisexual, try-sexual (I recently found out what this is; apparently from SATC), poly, or interested in swinging, threesomes, one-night stands, or group sex. I never was. Of course, that does not mean I look down upon anybody who is. I am sure they are happy with who they are. As am I.
So, no judgement about anyone who is different from me or has an orientation or preference that does not match mine.
Just that it does not excite, or even interest, me. Not now. Most probably never.
Hope this settles it. Once and for all.
P.S.: I am sure you have more interesting things to say and ask me, confess to and accuse anonymously. Go on. Give it a try. Just because I’ve answered one question definitively doesn’t mean every other question is settled.
P.P.S.: To my LGBTIQA+ friends, is there some specific vibe I’m giving off? I thought it was impossible to tell someone’s sexual orientation from simply their appearance. So, what gives?

Me: 'It says here that "A new paper published in the journal Nature Communications finds that a part of the brain that is associated with motivation and pleasure - the nucleus accumbens - also can produce sleep. The new findings may explain why we have the tendency to fall asleep in the absence of motivating stimuli, i.e., when bored." Isnt it interesting?'
Kym: 'I already knew that. Why do you need to research things we already know?'
Me: [Finding a subject worth talking about now]: ' Ah well, that's what we'll talk of tomorrow on your morning run. It's very interesting the way science is done and our understanding of the universe is expanded.'
Kym: 'Can we talk of unicorns instead?'
Me: 'Sure. How do you know they exist? That's an interesting question too that you can use the scientific method to answer.'
Kym: 'Do they have to exist for us to talk about them? We can just pretend they do for an hour and have fun.'
Me: [Laughing] 'Yes, sure. We can do that too.'
