If you stare into the abyss…

• They don’t integrate into the mainstream.
• They flaunt their religious symbols in public.
• They want others to follow their dietary habits.
• They want special rules based on their holy books.
• They are less concerned about science, progress, or the future of society and more about religion, rituals, and teaching their children an alien language just because their holy book was written in it.
• They deny science and then claim all that is to be discovered has already been done in their religion.
• They treat women badly.
• They expect women to dress as per the male gaze.
• They teach their children religious mumbo jumbo, telling them that it’s superior to modern science.
• They are aggressive and rowdy.
• They are evangelical and use force & bribery to convert.
• They have one holy place that is over and above every other.
• They are intolerant of change, of new ideas, of young energy, of love, of art, of writing, of research, or science, of technology.
• Their festivals involve loud sounds, public spectacles, and disturbances to regular life.
• They want special accommodation at workplaces.
• Authoritarianism is their natural state, and they gravitate towards it.
• They are tribal in nature.
• They don’t want to integrate into a society where they are minorities, wanting to retain their individual identities.
• Wherever they are small in number, they want their rights protected as minorities and accuse the majority of racism and irrational fear of their religion.
• Wherever they are in majority, they want to crush others and replace the constitution with their religious laws.
• They play the victim card when weak but oppress the weak when strong.

The funny part is every single complaint they had against the Muslims can now be made against them. Funny how you become more and more like the enemy you obsess about, even as you hate everything about him.

The RW intellectuals who claimed that Hindu Dharma (nowadays rechristened as Sanatana Dharma) was more modern, more tolerant, more progressive, and more suited to the future needed to sprinkle some salt & pepper on their hats; it would make them more palatable. They wanted to elevate the Muslims (who, according to them, needed to rise) but managed to descend to the depths themselves in the process.
