Top Gun Maverick: A (very short) review.

I cried.

That’s it. That’s the review.

But let me expand a bit on that: The entire movie is a celebration of flight. And speed. Other than the music, which disappointed (kind of), probably because the first one was so good, everything else is perfect, at least to me. I’d not change a thing. Of course, it touched me more because I had a special connection with the first one, which was Abhi’s, my late kid brother’s, inspiration to want to fly fighter jets (other than, of course, his own father, our Baba). So, I cannot say anything about how it will affect others. But to me, it was just perfect. As was the ending with the P-51 Mustang (which, I believe, belongs to Tom Cruise himself).

P.S: Val Kilmer is a bloody rockstar.
