Who’s your daddy?

I realised the RW is so plagued with their inborn inferiority complex that any strongman appeals to their intellect (or rather, their baser instinct, for intellect can hardly be seen as present in any of them), starved as it is of a ‘daddy’ they seem to badly need to fulfil their fantasies of sadism (which is actually masochism masquerading as its opposite, as is the case with those suffering from inferiority complexes like ‘small penis syndrome’).

A case in point is the collective orgasming over Russia’s Ukraine invasion. Why are they so ecstatic over it? I mean, why is Rakesh, who works at the Sewage Treatment Department at the Jhumritilaiya Nagar Parishad, so bloody smug about Putin’s takeover of Eastern Ukraine? Does he even know where it is? What is at stake? How it will affect the balance of power? What will India’s role be in it? And how Jhumritilaiya Nagar Parishad’s sewage treatment would either benefit or suffer? What exactly is the root of his हर्षोल्लास? He isn’t even a communist or conscious about American imperialism or in fact, aware even of the full form of NATO or the capital of Ukraine, leave alone knowledgeable about the history or geopolitics of the region. What makes him so thrilled at this development, other than simply looking up to a strongman, any strongman? I mean, ‘बेगानी शादी में…’

Answer this and you’ll get an answer to the Modiphilia we saw around for the past half a dozen years, which (as Modi slowly turned out to be a dud firework, turned into a yearning for someone stronger, more extreme) has transformed into a fantasy to see him being replaced by Yogi, with all the hyper-patriotism and religious nationalism that has become rampant in these parts of the world.

But honestly, as for the reason why this is so, I am nonplussed. Truly.
