Come on Barbie, let’s go party!

So, when I put up this photograph of a little pink Baby bear sitting on the staircase at the Insignia hall at Inox, Bund Garden where we had gone to watch ‘Barbie’, with her cheesy popcorn on Facebook, a friend (who is stunning herself) said I have a beautiful date. I told her she didn’t know half of it and she should see the other woman I was with!

So, here are two gorgeous women who love me over everyone else, and are loved back equally ferociously, with whom I watched a movie about another gorgeous woman who discovers she is not perfect, nor is the world, but realises that it isn’t necessarily a bad thing because it is so much more fulfilling to be human than to be perfect!

What an afternoon to spend with ‘my women’, one of whom has lived through, and defied, patriarchy all the way up to the Indian Parliament, and the other one who is being raised to confront it wherever she may encounter it.
