On Saturday, I rode with the Country Riders Tribe only for the second time after the trip to Mandangadh a few months ago (though, technically, I had been with the founder of the club, Sunil Nihalani, once just him and me to Veer Dam) to the Vintage Miles museum of vintage Indian two-wheelers on the Panchgani-Mahabaleshwar road (this had opened less than a couple of months ago) and then topped up the slow, leisurely ride with an excellent lunch at Jaffer Bhai’s Delhi Darbar at Panchgani, where the nalli-nihari and the chicken biryani is to die for.
