But ask a woman to defend a Dalit’s merit or Muslim’s patriotism, or a Dalit to defend a woman’s character or a Muslim’s patriotism, or a Muslim to defend a Dalit’s merit or a woman’s character, and you quickly realise how fucked up we are as a society and how deep the Stockholm Syndrome has penetrated into our very psyche.
