I have a unique request: I need a part-time librarian in Pune for a short project.
I have about 1,000 books, maybe more. And while they are nicely bound in plastic and most have my name, details of purchase etc inside, they are not catalogued nor are they properly shelved, even though I have a beautiful shelf with lots of space.
Now, normally, I’d do this myself. But owing to some personal (and some professional) circumstances, I am unable to find the bandwidth required for this work.
For a trained librarian, this is probably a week’s work. And I think hiring one would be the best way out, a conclusion I have reached after 3 months of trying to find the time and resources to sort through stuff I am unable to throw away, donate, or organise myself.
So, any leads would be appreciated. This will be a paid gig. Please contact me with any references. All help is appreciated.
