We celebrated Baba bear’s new bike (which is now ready in the showroom but going through the regulatory compliance) that will come on Sunday by going to a sumptuous lunch with him and Aji (we even helped carry her bags for her while leaving).
We had a blue drink and Aji had a green one. Baba bear had beer (do you think he likes beer so much because it is spelt similar to ‘bear’?) and pork ribs. We ordered chicken strips, guacamole toasties, and penne pasta in white sauce for us (and Aji). Then, we got a rainbow cake and a pink macaron packed for ourselves. Baba had us pose near the bookshelf, though to be honest, we don’t get the point if people aren’t allowed to take books to read from there. At the end of it all, Aji took the car to run some chores while Baba bear and we took an Uber rickshaw. We wore Baba bear’s aviators (did you know they are actually Abhi chacha’s?) and posed for more photographs. We really don’t understand why Baba bear likes to take so many snaps. He says these will help him have good memories when we go away eventually. But where does he think we are going? Sometimes, we are convinced that he is just a silly bear. Of course, we love him. Who doesn’t love silly bears, if you know what we mean.
All in all, a good time was had by all. Now, we eagerly await the coming of the motorcycle.
