A completely unnecessary, but exceedingly kind, gesture by Raavi’s parents, Rakesh and Rasika Gupta to ‘thank’ us for giving us the pleasure of having their cute, well-behaved, and more than welcome (not just by Kym’s Mamma and I, but by the little bear herself, who thinks this is a permanent arrangement and that she’s finally got the sister she’d been asking for) over while her mum quarantines.
The only people disagreeing with the ‘unnecessary’ part are both the hooduks who want to know if I’m done photographing the flowers and cake so they can finally get to cutting and eating the darned thing (the cake, I am hoping, not the flowers).
P.S: What beautiful roses though!!!
P.P.S: I forgot. There was this beautiful jade houseplant too! The Guptas are nature lovers and I think this is the absolute best thing to send anyone.
