Do not fall for Taliban propaganda. Being a good orator or having good optics does not mean that either your intentions are honest or your hands are clean or that you are a good leader or that you will deliver what you promise.
We know the costs of believing the hype. I am surprised at the number of Indian liberals seemingly getting taken in by suave, clipped English-accented, good-looking Taliban spokesmen who are giving interviews to the world media.
