Walking out dresses for the 21st century lady.

When we go out with Baba bear, we wear functional, athletic clothing and footwear, but we always find something with a bit of glitter or at least a cute animal on it.
When it is with Mamma bear, it can be flouncy and floral, traditional or formal, and all kinds of frocks and dresses, shorts and lehengas, with glitter and embroidery, lots of buttons and butterflies, paired with stylish sandals or chappals.
Today, it was Baba bear’s turn to take us out. We went and surprised Mamma bear in office, just as she was locking up to leave. And then, out of the two options (pancake or tv), we chose tv, and so we had a long drive in the rains and are now home watching Ninja Kids.
A day that begun with a leisurely (no, we were seriously slow today) 8km run in the rains, and included chess, piano, Marathi, maths, Hindi, Mandarin, writing practice, and reading in a marathon learning session that ended at 1700h, concluded with a nice surprise for Mamma (we had carried a Truffle pastry and hot coffee, her favourite) and perhaps an hour of tv for us before dinner and sleepy time. All in all, a satisfying day.
