So, on Father’s Day, we surprised our father with a nice framed card and a shaving kit from Bombay Shaving Company. He was a bit confused since we have told him that we love him in a beard, but reckoned that just like Tenzin and Sophie, our Barbie dolls, chewing gum, and slime, which he detests but still buys since we love them, he’ll know that we love him with or without a beard.
Then, there was Tiramisu that Rashmi Masi made especially for Baba Bear, and Mama Bear made chicken biryani and raita for lunch, and Aji made his favourite batata-tomatocha rassa and koshimbir. All-in-all, this was a fun day.
And even though Baba Bear had to rush to Tasha & Girl (on Aji-Ajoba’s farms) for supervising the loading for the shift to our new warehouse and office close by, and then Mama Bear took over halfway through for the unloading, when we all meet in the evening, I plan to play Uno (and win, as I always do) and show them a movie. My current favourite is Full Out: The Ariana Berlin Movie. I hope Baba and Mama like it.
