My almost-7-year-old has started devouring books at the rate of one per day, and it gives me immense joy to gloat about it. If there was one good habit I wanted to inculcate in my child (apart from exercise and fitness), it was reading (or exercise for the mind), and here it is, in spades! I am thrilled.
