My heaven.

There aren’t many pleasures of life that compare to a completely random stranger buying your products not because they know you in person, or are trying to impress you for some selfish gain, or are indebted to you, or are related to you, but because the brand proposition appealed to them, then consuming those products and falling in love with them, and then telling the world that they loved what you made and did without any reference to you, but only to the products and brand.

It is even more satisfying when it is children, with literally zero agenda to flatter or be polite, who vote with their spoons.

This is such a story. Rajesh Ramaswamy connected with me on Facebook not long ago for the content of my posts, bought our jams because he was fascinated with the brand, got his children (who hate jams) to taste them, something that changed their minds about jams in general, and then decided to tell his friends to go and buy what we make so lovingly!

When I lie on my deathbed, and my life flashes before me, one of the things that will be part of that showreel is the joy we managed to create on the taste buds and in the minds of total strangers with something we made with our hands. And most part of that specific flashback segment will have kids licking their fingers sticky with oodles of fresh fruit jams that flowed from our kitchen.

What else is heaven?
