Can we please stop using the fallacy of justifying the bombing of Palestinian civilians on the basis of atrocities committed by Arab governments, Islamic jihadists, or even Islam? How smart does one have to be to see that this is wrong? And how lacking in humanity, empathy, and a sense of fair play must one’s soul be not to see it as a massively imbalanced war that has cost huge collateral damage to civilians and non-combatants?
And yes, we should also stop using the fallacy of justifying the Israeli occupation and literal colonialism on the basis of the horrible Holocaust that they suffered, mind you, not by the hands of Arabs, but by other Europeans.
